Payroll: How to setup payroll groups ?

Payroll group is important if you have different type of salary calculation for different staffs. If your calculation type for all staffs are the same, you can create only one payroll group. To access to this page you need to :

1. Go to PAYROLL > CONFIGURATIONS > PAYROLL GROUPS > ADD NEW

2. Fill in the information required. For example:
 
Name Payroll group name. For example: Standard
Description Any description for payroll group.
Salary Calculation Type Choose salary calculation type.
Total Hours Per Day Key in how many hours works per day.
No of Working Days Per Month Key in how many days works per month.
Use Fixed Values for Overtime Check the box if use fixed values for overtime or else uncheck if use multiplier.
After Working Hours (Per Hour) Key in overtime rate for after working hours (Per Hour). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
After Working Hours (Per Day) Key in overtime rate for after working hours (Per Day). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
Rest Day (Per Hour) Key in overtime rate for after rest day (Per Hour). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
Rest Day (Per Day) Key in overtime rate for after rest day (Per Day). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
Public Holiday (Per Hour) Key in overtime rate for after public holiday (Per Hour). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
Public Holiday (Per Day) Key in overtime rate for after public holiday (Per Day). For example RM2 per hour. Just key in "2.00".
Overtime Contribution Settings Tick if contribute for overtime.





3. Once completed, click Save and Back to list to view list of payroll group that have been added.
